Since 2017, Emilie Lay has been creating series of unique ceramic and basketry objects.
Her creations, mixing materials, symbols, folklore, question various universes; these chimerical objects could embody an identity composed of multiple influences. They also reveal a subtle balance in a constant dialogue between materials and know-how.
Each piece is a poetic and functional exploration of materials and gestures, marking a dual and refined approach.
