Small fetish objects, perhaps they were inspired by a photo seen some time ago, by Hiroshi Hamaya, "Children wearing straw capes on their way to a New Year's event in Niigata", 1956. A photo showing children protected by magnificent straw "capes". I like to imagine the shapes that the wax flows on the ceramic and fibers will take, creating a perpetual sculpture.
