Frying series, 2020
Frying is a series of sculptures woven from rattan core, the result of a miraculous catch; creatures found stranded on the seashore who enjoy playing sometimes with nets, sometimes with a shell.

Hà Nội Vase
The Hà Nội vases are the starting point of my project exploring the meeting of ceramics and basketwork.
This collection, which I designed during my stay in Hanoi, was made in the surroundings of the capital, in close collaboration with artisans, a ceramist and a basket maker. I left a leeway to the artisans on certain aspects of the manufacturing in order to highlight their know-how, their personal touch that gives each vase its uniqueness.
Four districts of Hanoi give their names to the vases, reminding me of the year I spent there between 2015 and 2016.
